About John Byrne
John Byrne has been involved in youth ministry for more then 17 years. His ability to engage, challenge, and speak relevantly to his audience has led to speaking opportunities nationwide including camps, seminars, conferences, and training events. He has also been published in Group Magazine, Youthworker Journal, and contributed to Youth Ministry Lemonade: turning “sour” experiences into leadership success.
John knew he wanted to be a youth pastor at the early age of 13. While attending Oak Hills Bible College he met the woman of his dreams and convinced her to marry him. After a two year honeymoon in the great state of Colorado he returned to his home state of Minnesota to finish his Biblical Studies degree from Northwestern Bible College.
John’s passion is living The Cause (Great Commission) in his life and helping others do the same. He does this through his ministry in the local church as well as writing, speaking, and missional living in his own neighborhood and community.
John is currently the Pastor of Student Ministries at The Rock of Southwest. For the past three years John and his family have been living and ministering in Littleton, CO.
About Mike Stella
Mike Stella has been involved in ministry for over 8 years. Ever since Mike graduated from Minnesota State University in 2002, God has put a desire in his heart to learn, write, and teach Biblical truths and theology. Mike was obedient to this call and earned a Masters degree in Theology from Bethel Seminary in 2006. Since then Mike has served in various capacities including a youth and children’s pastor at a church in his hometown of Brooklyn Park, MN.
Mike has a passion to help people understand and get excited about God’s truths. He believes that Godly thinking will lead to Godly behavior. After all, how can a person worship a God they do not know and understand?!
Currently Mike lives in Champlin, MN with his wife Julie and his daughter Camryn. He loves Minnesota Gopher Hockey, enjoys reading, running, and spending time with his family.
